Army

The Army comprises the central administration, the ground forces, regional organizations, services, and training organizations. The White Paper on Defence distinguishes three components, which exhaustively describe the Army: a- projectable forces;b- the standing security posture;c- the standing support structure. These components can have common points [Балабін, Гардера, p. 258].
Organic components of the Army, gathering all elements susceptible to directly carrying out an operational mission [Балабін, Гардера, p. 259].
A military force with the training and equipment to fight on land [Cambridge Online Dictionary].
The Army is a powerful fighting force defending and serving our nation by land, sea, and air. Elite groups within the Army, such as the Army Rangers and Special Forces, receive specialized training for advanced combat situations.
In addition to domestic bases, the Army has permanent stations in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa and troops on the ground wherever there is a conflict. Length of individual service commitment varies, and in some cases, may be as little as two years [Today’s military].
