Economic sovereignty

Economic independence of the state, its right to independently solve internal and external economic issues, without the interference of any other state. 2. Economic freedom of economic entities when choosing forms of ownership and sphere of application of their knowledge, capabilities, professional skill, methods of the income distribution, and consumption of material goods. It is inseparable from the economic responsibility of citizens and is implemented on the basis of legislative state norms [Economic dictionary].
The concept of economic sovereignty is one of the most controversial in the literature, it collides and intersects with many others. The most compact and acceptable definition of economic sovereignty is the supremacy of the state in internal economic affairs and the economic equality of the state in the international arena. The second, as a rule, is impossible without the first. The provision of the first contributes to the provision of the second (or even serves simultaneously as the provision of the second). Both require consideration of the same economic factors. At the same time, the strengthening of sovereignty in the international arena contributes to the economic strengthening of the state in the "internal direction" as well. Sovereignty is one of the main properties of a people organized into a state — a socio-political community (system) called a state [Ustimenko V. A., Hrynyuk R. F., Shelegeda B. G. Economic, p.406].
