Ethnolinguistics
Ethnolinguistics is the branch of linguistics that studies the relationship between language and culture and investigates our cultural behaviors and worldviews by the language we speak [Britannica]. It is also viewed as a field of linguistic anthropology that investigates the language of a particular ethnic group. Ethnolinguists study how perception and conceptualization influence language and show how this is linked to different cultures and societies.
