Flash

1. Flash is a sudden brief burst of bright light.

The flash point is the minimum temperature at which the fuel vapor ignites from a collision with a flame. Flash point is the temperature at which the body begins to burn.
The higher the boiling point of petroleum products, the higher the flash point. The flash point gives an idea of how rich the products are in volatile fractions, and indicates the degree of fire and explosion hazard of petroleum products.
