Glow

1. Glow is a steady radiance of light or heat.
2. Glow is the phenomenon of light emission by a body as its temperature is raised.

Many materials and living organisms have a glow. For a number of minerals found that a significant role in the emission impurities is played by other substances, often present in very minute quantities. In artificial joints luminous noticed that the color of the glow changes when simultaneously present in the substance of various composition of the impurity. Coloring sometimes extinguished (e. g. glow, caused by the presence of copper, bismuth, extinguished). The same mineral, but from different fields, gives not the same color glow (e. g. calcium carbonate). The reasons for this with certainty until they install.
