Logometer

A logometer is an electrical measuring device for measuring the ratio of the forces of two electric currents.

A logometer is usually used in instruments for measuring resistance, inductance, capacitance, and temperature. A logometer is a device in which there are no helical springs that create a counteracting moment when the arrow turns, and the readings of which do not depend on the magnitude of the current, but depend on the multiple ratio of the currents in the coils. Logometers of the magnetoelectric, electrodynamic, ferrodynamic, and electromagnetic systems are common. For example, a logometer is a magnetoelectric megohmmeter, a temperature measuring device complete with a resistance thermometer, etc.
