National Budget (State Budget)
1)is an annual financial statement which outlines the estimated government expenditure and expected government receipts or revenues for the forthcoming fiscal year. Depending on the feasibility of these estimates, budgets are of three types -- balanced budget, surplus budget and deficit budget.
2)is an itemized accounting of the payments received by government (taxes and other fees) and the payments made by government (purchases and transfer payments). A budget deficit occurs when an government spends more money than it takes in. The opposite of a budget deficit is a budget surplus.
