Interface
Interface: a) the place at which independent and often unrelated systems meet and act on or communicate with each other.
b) the means by which interaction or communication is achieved at an interface.
A device or program for connecting two items of hardware or software so that they can be operated jointly or communicate with each other.
1. The interface between two subjects or systems is the area in which they affect each other or have links with each other.
2. If you refer to the user interface of a particular piece of computing software, you are talking about its presentation on screen and how easy it is to operate.
3. In computing and electronics, an interface is an electrical circuit which links one machine, especially a computer, with another.
