Morphology
Morphology is a branch of linguistics analysing the structure of words. The structure of the form of the word is its morphology [Baldick, 161].
In linguistics, morphology is the study of the forms and structure of words, of the ways in which they are made up of morphemes [Quinn, 268].
Morphology ish the branch of grammar which studies the structure of words through the use of the morpheme construct. It is traditionally differentiated from syntax, which deals with the rules that govern the combination of words in sentences. Morphology is mainly divided into two fields: the study of inflections and of word-formation [Crystal, 314].
Word structure, or the branch of linguistics which studies this is called morphology.
Words normally have an internal structure. Morphemes are the units words consist of [Trask, 128].
