Neural Computer
The neurocomputer provides for timely implementation of neural networks (ordinary computers cannot implement neural networks at usable speeds for most applications) under the control of host computer software .
In this milieu, neural networks are treated as subroutines or procedures by software running on the host computer, thus providing a simple mechanism for integrating the advantages of neural networks into traditional computing environments .
