Scalability
Scalability is the capability to increase resources to yield a linear (ideally) increase in
service capacity.
For hardware, this is a predictable increase in system performance when computing resources are added to the system, or, in other words, the ability to increase performance as the load on the system increases. There’re vertical and horizontal scalability.
