Repagination
Repagination is the process of repaginating a book or document; the renumbering of the pages of a book.
Many word processors do this reformatting automatically in response to inserting, deleting, or moving a block of text.
Repagination is dividing a document into discrete electronic or printed pages. For print documents and some online content, repagination also refers to the automated process of adding consecutive numbers to identify the sequential order of pages.
Separate pagination is a bibliographic term that indicates the presence of separate page numbering for each journal article, part of a collection, or book chapter; pagination consists of several consecutive rows of page numbering (lists) of documents. [Ковалів, Ю.]
In publishing, pagination is the sequential numbering of pages, indicated by columns located at the page's bottom, top, or side.
Automatic data-driven text pagination uses complex rules and algorithms to determine where to place page breaks (including control of hanging lines). Semantically common parts of the content should not be located on different pages.
