Assistive technologies
Assistive technologies (AT) are any item, piece of equipment, software program, or product system that are used to increase, maintain, or improve the functional capabilities of persons with disabilities.
AT is not something that one can directly pinpoint, as it’s an amalgamation of various devices such as wheelchairs, walkers, braces, educational software, power lifts, pencil holders, eye-gaze and head trackers, and much more.
