Adaptability
Adaptability is the capacity of an individual to effectively regulate and adjust cognitive, behavioral, and emotional responses to new, changing, uncertain, or challenging circumstances. It enables people to cope with environmental demands, maintain psychological well-being, respond constructively to stress, and continue functioning effectively despite adversity or change. Adaptability is considered a key component of resilience and positive mental health because it supports successful adjustment, problem-solving, emotional regulation, and recovery from difficult experiences.
