Emotional Recovery Therapy

Emotional recovery therapy is a psychological approach aimed at restoring emotional balance after stress, trauma, or emotional exhaustion. It focuses on helping a person process difficult emotions, reduce psychological tension, and regain emotional stability. In psychology, emotional recovery is associated with emotional regulation, resilience, and coping skills that help individuals adapt after stressful life experiences.
This approach also includes developing awareness of emotional states, identifying triggers of distress, and gradually rebuilding a sense of inner safety and control. Emotional recovery is often supported through therapeutic techniques that encourage reflection, relaxation, and restructuring of negative thought patterns. It helps individuals strengthen their ability to cope with future stressors and improve overall psychological well-being.
This approach is widely used in psychotherapy and mental health support to improve emotional functioning, prevent burnout, and enhance long-term emotional resilience.
