Therapy through movement

Movement therapy, also known as dance/movement therapy (DMT), is a therapeutic approach that uses movement and physical expression to improve emotional, mental, and physical well-being. It is based on the idea that the body and mind are interconnected, and movement can help process emotions, reduce stress, and enhance self-awareness. Movement therapy is often used to address a variety of conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and chronic pain, and it fosters creativity, self-expression, and connection with others.
