Mental equilibrium, also known as mental balance, refers to a state of inner tranquility and harmony, where an individual maintains calmness and composure despite life's inevitable fluctuations. Causes of Disrupted Mental Equilibrium: Chronic Stress: Prolonged exposure to stress can negatively impact mental balance, potentially leading to conditions like insomnia. Emotional Imbalance: Difficulty in coping effectively with life's challenges can result in a constant conflict between one's emotions and thoughts, disrupting mental equilibrium. Chemical Imbalances: An imbalance of chemicals in the body, such as neurotransmitters in the brain, can affect mood and behavior, contributing to mental health disorders. Mental Health Disorders: Conditions like depression, anxiety disorders, and schizophrenia can disrupt an individual's mental equilibrium, affecting their mood, thinking, and behavior.
