Self-support

— refers to the conscious actions an individual takes to preserve and improve their physical and mental health. These practices can include physical exercises, healthy eating, adequate sleep, as well as stress-reducing methods such as meditation, yoga, or other relaxation techniques. Research shows that regular self-care can significantly reduce levels of anxiety, depression, and other mental health disorders, as well as improve overall well-being.
