Perfectionism

Perfectionism is a personality trait characterized by striving for high standards of performance and a tendency to critically evaluate oneself. It is closely related to individual mental health and has a profound impact on individuals' work, study, and life.

Features:

- Positive Aspects of Perfectionism: Setting high standards can stimulate personal development, increase motivation, and contribute to significant achievements in professional and personal spheres. This type of perfectionism is often referred to as "adaptive" and promotes self-realization and effective activity.

- Negative Aspects of Perfectionism: Excessive striving for perfection can lead to constant dissatisfaction with oneself, anxiety, depression, and other psychological disorders. This "maladaptive" perfectionism is characterized by excessive self-criticism, fear of failure, and avoidance of situations where mistakes are possible.
