Negative self-criticism

Negative self-criticism – it is the behavior that involves constant and harsh self-scrutiny, overly critical evaluations of one’s own behavior, and negative reactions to perceived failures in terms of active self-bashing. Self-criticizing behavior arises from a complex interplay of psychological, social, and environmental factors. It can diminish your ability to make positive changes in your life or your confidence in yourself to do so.
