Stress tolerance
Stress tolerance refers to being able to remain relatively calm and composed during high stress situations. It involves the capacity to remain emotionally regulated and cognitively flexible despite the presence of stressful life events. Stress tolerance is associated with resilience, meaning that individuals who have high stress tolerance are better able to mitigate the effects of stress in their lives.
