Feedback

Feedback – in communication is the response, reaction, or information given by the recipient of a message to the sender. It is the process of letting someone know which areas they need to improve. Feedback is essential to effective communication because it helps the sender check that their message has been understood and received as intended and modify their communication strategy as needed.

Essentials :
Whether feedback is just there to be grasped or is provided by another person, helpful feedback is goal-referenced; tangible and transparent; actionable; user-friendly (specific and personalized); timely; ongoing; and consistent.
Effective feedback requires that a person has a goal, takes action to achieve the goal, and receives goal-related information about his or her actions.
