Psychological stability
Psychological stability is a protective characteristic that enhances a person's ability to adapt to environmental conditions and mitigates the harmful effects of stress. Psychological stability, according to Lialiuk (2023), is one of the main factors of human life that ensures the effective implementation of professional tasks and depends on the skills of a person to consciously manage this activity, form the most favourable mode of work and the ability to withstand psychological stress at a level that would support optimal productivity, the nature of the activity and the success of its implementation, the ability to correctly assess their own strengths and weaknesses, and correctly evaluate own strengths and weaknesses.
Psychological stability refers to an individual’s ability to maintain a consistent and balanced mental and emotional well-being.
