Schizophrenia
Schizophrenia a chronic and severe mental disorder that affects how a person thinks, feels, and behaves. Individuals with schizophrenia may experience hallucinations, delusions, disorganized thinking, and significant disruptions in emotional and social functioning. This mental health condition often begins in late adolescence or early adulthood and requires lifelong management. While the exact cause of schizophrenia is unknown, it is believed to result from a combination of genetic, environmental, and chemical factors in the brain. Modern treatments, including antipsychotic medications and psychosocial therapies, can help manage symptoms and improve quality of life.
