Emotional resilience

Emotional resilience is when you are able to calm your frantic mind after encountering a negative experience. It is intrinsic motivation, an inner force by which we can hold ourselves through all the downsides of life. Just like other aspects of our persona, for example emotional intelligence and Social intelligence, emotional resilience is a trait that is there since birth and continues to develop throughout life. What is it about emotionally resilient people that make them more effective at managing stress than non-resilient people? Specifically, emotionally resilient people tend to:
1) Have realistic and attainable expectations and goals.
2) Show good judgment and problem-solving skills.
3) Be effective communicators with good people skills.
4) Be empathetic toward other people.
5) Feel good about themselves and feel in control of their lives.
