Experimental method

An experiment is one of the methods of scientific research carried out to support or refute a hypothesis, or determine the efficacy or likelihood of something previously untried. Experiments provide insight into cause-and-effect by demonstrating what outcome occurs when a particular factor is manipulated [Stohr-Hunt]. To experiment with any type, it is necessary to: develop a hypothesis to be tested; create programs of experimental work; determine methods and methods of intervention in the research object; provide conditions for carrying out the procedure of experimental works; develop ways and methods of recording the progress and results of the experiment; prepare means of the experiment (devices, installations, models, and the like); provide the experiment with the necessary service personnel [Самойчук, Верхоланцева, p.7].
The experiment should be carried out as soon as possible with minimal costs and the highest quality of the obtained results [Самойчук, Верхоланцева, p.8].
