Technical protection of information

Technical protection of information is providing engineering and technical measures of confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility of information and making it impossible to block.
Information leakage is the uncontrolled distribution of information that results in unauthorized receipt. Information leakage occurs through appropriate leakage channels. Technical security (TECHSEC) refers to a series of techniques used for authentication and protection against the theft of sensitive data and information, usually in organizations. It authenticates the users' login and data such that only verified user applications can read and access data and applications.
